Easily absorbed into most metals, Ilios’ Nd:YAG laser systems are ideally suited for marking and engraving applications on metals. The laser does so by emitting light with a wavelength of 1064nm in both continuous and pulsed modes, producing lower reflection of the laser beam with a small wavelength, resulting in loss of energy.

While our Q-switched Nd:YAG laser systems provide high peak powers especially at lower frequencies, our pulsed Nd:YAG laser systems enable high pulse energy suitable for processes such as spot welding. A popular application in many existing industrial processes, Nd:YAG laser systems have proven to be highly efficient, reliable and important as enhancements in many manufacturing and research developments.
